My time at SVA was foundational, shaping who I am both as a person and as a Muslim. It gave me a close-knit community and lifelong friends who continue to inspire me every day. At the same time, SVA nurtured my Islamic education while providing an academic experience that not only prepared me for college but set me ahead.

SVA is a nurturing Islamic school that promotes the love and knowledge of Allah in addition to academic excellence. I feel incredibly blessed to have found a school that equips my kids for success both in this world and the hereafter with compassion and kindness.

We have been part of the SVA family for more than 11 years, with all three of our kids attending the school. It has truly been a second home for us—a place where our children are supported, cared for, and raised in a healthy way, both physically and mentally. We feel so blessed to have such dedicated teachers who are always there for our kids and to be part of such a loving community.

SVA has provided not only a strong academic foundation, but also a nurturing environment where my kids feel supported and inspired to grow. What makes SVA truly special is the Islamic atmosphere it creates for its students. As a parent, it gives me so much peace of mind to know that my children are being raised in an environment where Islamic values are taught, reinforced, and lived every day. The teachers care about their students and go above and beyond to help them succeed not just academically, but spiritually and emotionally as well. We are so grateful to be part of SVA!

As an SVA parent for 11 years with three children who have grown up at SVA, the first word that comes to my mind is balance. A balance of curiosity and rigor without overwhelming pressure and homework. A balance of a nurturing and supportive environment that also challenges students to achieve their potential. A balance of focusing on how to live a good life with morality and spirituality for yourself and your community. A balance of learning through academics, play and diverse activities, inside and outside the classroom. The balance is intentional in every aspect of the organization, from the Board, the administration, the teachers and the parent community.
